We are currently partnering with The Brooklyn STEAM Center which is working with the NYC Department of Education and the Brooklyn Navy Yard to deliver innovative, industry-informed experiences which empower students to take charge of their futures, and create a diverse, skilled talent pipeline for the technology and manufacturing industries.
KFX Technology is dedicated to supporting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). As a global leader in one of the fastest growing industries, we understand how vital these careers are for the future of the planet and the media industry.
STEAM careers offer above-average income potential and robust opportunities for professional development and meaningful work in a variety of industries.

We appreciate the extremely important role that The Brooklyn STEAM Center plays in supporting students and local businesses,” says Steve Scammell, founder of KFX Technology. Through our partnership with the center, KFX Technology has welcomed two new paid interns to our team. Both interns are currently enrolled in STEAM undergraduate degree programs in NYC and appreciative of the opportunity to get real-world work experience before completing their degrees. Interns are trained to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process from sourcing parts, to making cables and circuit boards, to assembling equipment, performing quality control, and learning 3D printing techniques.
We look forward to working closely with STEAM and other organizations focused on attracting students and college graduates to the manufacturing industry. “It is great to be in an industry with unprecedented growth,” says Steve Scammel, founder of KFX Technology. “This enables us to continuously find ways to add value to our customers and the communities we touch. When businesses help to develop an innovative, empowered and socially conscious workforce, we all win.”
